CLASS OR LECTURER THAT HAS IMPACTED YOU SIGNIFICANTLY

  During the first and second weeks of  the  HPC1013 - Listening and Speaking Development 1 class that is taught by Miss Anis, I can still follow the lesson that was just felt smoother and easy to understand at first. But, day by day I could feel that it was getting harder to understand. It is because the next week of the class, I couldn't pay attention with the lesson as I lost which part of the information is crucial for me to memorise and even more, some of the topic making my brain sluggish to understand that made me felt like want to give up. However, I'm not saying that this class has impacted me negatively, indeed it is more to positive. Miss Anis's class has motivated me to keep striving in my studies and take note to every important points seriously that she has explained it thoroughly.

   One of the teaching part that has impacted me is her speed of teaching. I felt like this one wasn't only impacted me significantly, in fact, it is also a beginning of the challenge for me to keep up with her lesson. Her speed of teaching is quiet fast for me that it's really requiring me to listen carefully as I didn't want to mishear any of the important points in any of the topics. However, her teaching style has taught me to concentrate more, not only in her class but also with other lecturers class too.

  In this class, I also learnt about my time management. What do I mean by that? It means, when I feel like some of the topic is quiet difficult to understand, I always make sure to organise my time properly to revise the topic without any distractions. This is also a chance for me to quickly and easily undestand the topic.

  So far, this class has impacted me significantly by improving my discipline and concentration in learning. This is also just a beginning of my journey and I'm looking for more new knowledge and experience in this class with Miss Anis with hope that I could share and talk about this subject with my family and other friends too.

  I love writing because it gives me the space to write and express anything that I want, especially when I'm writing about my life such as writing it in the journal. But it's totally opposite with formal writing or any writing material that have their distinct instruction and rule for each of the paragraph and sentence. It's more like you can't freely write anything you want or in another words you can't fully follow your own writing style.   Sometimes this kind of writing makes my brain stuck to think on how to build a strong sentence structure and even made me spending my time for hours just to avoid any mistakes in writing. HABITS OR SKILLS THAT YOU PICKED UP AT COLLEGE THAT SURPRISE YOU (PART 2)

    First and foremost, high school life and college life is very different in many ways. One of them is assignment or in high school term we called it homework. The different here is that the due date. During high school, the due date for homework was usually the next day or probably the day after, and that only applied if we had the subject on that day. If we didn't have the subject during that day, we didn't feel rushed to complete the homework.       However, it was really different when I began entering into the college which was I have to submit my assignments on the same day according to the given deadline. Sometimes, lecturers set a specific time, such as from 1 until 3 hours after they assigned us to complete the assignments.
